FAQs
Where are you located?
Sweet Peach is located at The Drawing Room in Quarry Hill, Bendigo. Please note my kitchen here is private so if you want to chat it is by appointment only. However, you can usually snag a little treat baked by me in their sweets display!
Do you deliver?
As I am just a one woman show I cannot offer delivery services at this time. If you are unable to collect your cake, you're most welcome to send someone on your behalf! Please ensure they have the order name & number with them on collection.
I do, however, offer delivery on wedding cakes as part of the service to ensure they get to your venue safe & sound. Servicing locations up to 100km from Bendigo CBD.Â
How far in advance can I order?
Currently, my books for preset cakes & custom cakes are open up to 3 months ahead. For weddings my books are currently open until the end of 2025.
Can you make this exact cake design I have found?
I am more than happy to use cakes from other artists as inspiration. However, I will never copy another artist's work directly & will always put my own spin on it. Please be mindful of this! There are many other ways to convey inspiration for a cake, whether it be your event theme, outfit, mood board, favourite colour, etc. Lets create some magic together!
Do you do gender reveal cakes?
Yes! There is an option in the flavour drop down menu to add gender reveal colouring to your cake! You can then email me the relevant gender reveal information at hellosweetpeach@outlook.com
What type of buttercream do you use?
I use a Swiss Meringue Buttercream for stacking, filling & decorating all of my cakes. It is a meringue based buttercream making it silky smooth, light & not too sweet. Yum!
How do I know what size cake to order for my event?
I calculate serving sizes in 'dessert portions'. This is a 4 inch x 2 inch x 1 inch slice (roughly palm sized). I find this is perfect for a dessert course at your event or if you're a cake lover.
If you'd like smaller sized slices, you can cut the pieces into 'coffee portions' - this is a 4 inch x 1 inch x 1 inch slice (about the size of a cigar), which is perfect for cocktail style events or if other sweets are being served.
What is the best way to cut my cake?
There is definitely a way to cut your cake to maximise servings! Please view this link from YouTube that will walk you through the recommended method. Our celebration cakes will come with a handy little cutting guide for you to use on the day as well!
